Duplantis confirmed the secret ceremony to TT, stating he is not wearing a ring yet and that a real ceremony and wedding will take place this summer.

He proposed to Inglander in October 2024, and she now uses the surname Duplantis instead of Inglander. The summer wedding means Duplantis will miss the Diamond League event Bislett Games in Oslo. He said missing a competition for his wedding does not matter, as it is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and he has invited some pole vault colleagues to the celebration.
