Only fragments of April Jones's remains were found in Mark Bridger's cottage, and April Jones's body has never been found. Hazel Jones, April's older sister, was 18 and heavily pregnant at the time of April's disappearance. She is now 31 years old and shares a father with April Jones.

Her last memory of April was seeing her in the kitchen with their father making hot chocolate and laughing, wearing army pyjamas, a few days before her disappearance. Hazel Jones believes Mark Bridger should be made to 'suffer' as he serves his life sentence. 'He deserves everything he’s getting.

Hazel Jones supports proposals to chemically castrate sex offenders, but does not support the death penalty for them. Mark Bridger was attacked in prison last year, for a second time.
