Andy Robertson will leave Liverpool at the end of the current season, the club announced on its official website. The 32-year-old Scottish left-back joined Liverpool from Hull City in the summer of 2017 for around 8 million pounds and has made 373 competitive appearances for the club, scoring 13 goals and providing 69 assists. Robertson reportedly lost his starting place after Milos Kerkez was signed last summer, and his playing time has decreased drastically.
He is on an expiring contract. Robertson said in a video on Liverpool's website that it is time for him to move on, and he expressed gratitude to the club, supporters, and people connected to it. He has won the Champions League in the 2018/19 season and the Premier League twice, in 2019/20 and 2024/25.
