A new musical theater piece titled "Det var en gång ett hus" premiered at Malmö stadsteater's Hipp stage on March 14. The play, created by Swedish television host and actor Anders Lundin, is set in a supernatural apartment building in Malmö during the early 1990s. According to reports, the story follows a character named Anna who receives an apartment contract after meeting a mysterious stranger and discovers the building is not ordinary.
Lundin reportedly drew inspiration from anthropological works and his own experiences and travels, aiming to address what he describes as a lack of mythology in the city. The production involves set construction at Hipp to transform the theater into an apartment building.
