Amanda Knox and her husband Chris are producing a podcast series titled 'Doubt - the case of Lucy Letby', which she described as a very in-depth investigation into this case. According to reports, the podcast will have at least 13 episodes, though the exact release schedule and current status of the episodes remain unknown. It is unclear whether the podcast will present new arguments or evidence regarding Letby's innocence or guilt.
Lucy Letby is serving 15 whole-life sentences for murdering seven babies and attempting to murder seven others at the Countess of Chester Hospital between 2015 and 2016. She lost attempts to appeal her convictions, with a Court of Appeal dismissing her case on all grounds in May 2024.
It's been a very interesting, eye opening experience to investigate her case.
Amanda Knox was speaking at an event to promote her documentary 'Mouth of the Wolf' at the Greenwich Picturehouse in south East London. She was cleared of killing her roommate Meredith Kercher.
Knox and her husband traveled from London to Chester to investigate Lucy Letby's case and interview people connected to it. Whether Lucy Letby has responded to Knox's letter or book is not confirmed, and how Letby's parents or legal representatives have reacted to the outreach and podcast is also unknown. Specific findings or evidence Knox has uncovered in her investigation have not been disclosed.
Chris and I are producing a podcast series about the case. It's called 'Doubt - the case of Lucy Letby'. It's a very, very in-depth investigation into this case.
It's an ongoing process. There's going to be at least 13 episodes. But no I have not spoken to her personally. I did send her a copy of my book. I wrote her a letter. I've not talked to her personally.
The focus of the podcast is not about her - it's about the facts of the case which I think it really important.
I like to remind people that I was an indirect victim of crime before I became a victim of the criminal justice system. I'm absolutely invested in getting the right people held accountable because I know so much about the criminal legal system. I actually might be a very valuable and fair juror.
I'm excited to share with you something I've been working on for two years now. Please check out my new podcast series, Doubt: The Case of Lucy Letby, from @iHeartRadio. It's available now, wherever you get your podcasts
