Amadeus Sögaard is reportedly close to signing with Sarasota Paradise in the United States, according to unconfirmed reports. The 28-year-old defender has been without a club since his contract with IFK Norrköping expired. He previously played 34 Allsvenskan matches over two seasons for Norrköping and 101 matches for IF Brommapojkarna.
Sarasota Paradise is based in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, and was founded in 2023. The club is owned by Swedish entrepreneur Marcus Walfridson, who also serves as sporting director, CEO, and founder. Sarasota Paradise won the USL's fourth-tier league in 2024 and now plays in the third-tier USL League One, where all players have professional contracts.
If final details are agreed, the club hopes to present Sögaard in the coming weeks.
