Alexandra Nilsson's blog persona 'Kissie' is making a comeback in a micro-drama series of 22 parts. The episodes, each between 45 and 90 seconds long, are being published on Nilsson's Instagram and TikTok accounts. In the series, titled 'Kissie's back', the blog profile is revived after lying dormant for the past 15 years, with the goal of becoming Sweden's biggest blogger again.

Nilsson said she missed the persona, calling it 'the missing piece', but had previously felt the need to 'bury' Kissie because people had difficulty understanding that people grow up. She decided to bring Kissie back on her own terms. Nilsson contacted BBC Studios Nordic Production with the idea, and development chief Simon Romanus immediately took it on, stating they want to be at the forefront and break new ground.
