An elderly man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle accident involving an A-tractor (moped car) near Skärstad on Thursday afternoon. The accident occurred around 13:20 on County Road 993 between Skärstad and Ölmstad.
According to police spokesperson Mats Pettersson, the tractor left the road with a loud crash. The injured person was transported by ambulance to a hospital with serious injuries. Initial police reports indicated the victim was conscious and bleeding at the scene.
