AIK defender Ibrahim Cissé could make his debut for the club in a cup match against Oddevold on Saturday. According to AIK coach José Riveiro, Cissé is part of the squad for the match, which starts at 13:00. Riveiro stated that Cissé is on a much better place now after training with the team for two weeks, but he is reportedly still only two weeks into his pre-season.
Cissé joined AIK in January but has not debuted yet, partly because his work permit was only approved last week. Meanwhile, new signing Lukas Bergquist is not in the squad and is not ready to play, as he has not trained with the group yet. Riveiro did not comment on other players who have been absent, such as Sotirios Papagiannopoulos.
