A 16-year-old Swedish boy has been sentenced to 16 years in prison by Copenhagen City Court for his involvement in serious crimes, according to Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet. The teenager, who reportedly used the aliases 'Mr Killer' and 'The Godfather', was convicted for participation in two attempted murders and an explosion in Copenhagen. The court found that the boy was 15 years old when he participated in planning the crimes, which occurred without causing injuries to any individuals.
According to the report, the court described the offenses as 'carefully planned criminality together with several other persons' and noted that the attempted murders aimed to create conflict between two criminal gangs. The news agency Ritzau reported that the 16-year-old, who wishes to be acquitted, has already appealed the sentence.
