According to reports from Expressen, two people were arrested in Stockholm on Tuesday, including a 15-year-old girl who allegedly planned to carry out an explosion but changed her mind. The girl was reportedly arrested after her father alerted police, expressing concern for his daughter. When she returned home, she allegedly told him she was supposed to carry out an explosion but had reconsidered.
The planned attack was reportedly intended to occur in Solna, north of Stockholm. After the girl provided details to police, authorities conducted a house search where they found a number of hand grenades. A second person was also reportedly arrested in connection with the incident.
Police have referred inquiries to the Swedish Prosecution Authority (Åklagarmyndigheten), according to Expressen. A second report from Aftonbladet indicates the planned explosion may have connections to the LVU-härvan case in Huddinge, though official confirmation of these connections has not been provided.
