Skybus has cancelled its flights between Newquay and London Gatwick, with the final services scheduled for April 2, 2026. The airline cited a surge in fuel costs and a drop in bookings as reasons for the early termination of a Public Service Obligation contract.

Devon and Cornwall Police have launched an urgent search for Shera-Lea Wenman, 28, and two seven-year-old girls, Darcey and Natalia, who were last seen late Friday night near Hendra Holiday Park in Newquay, Cornwall.
