Police detained dozens of coal miners and union leaders in Ankara on Tuesday after they marched to the energy ministry demanding unpaid wages, with 110 miners launching a hunger strike outside the building.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan condemned U.S.-Israeli attacks against Iran and called for urgent diplomacy to prevent a wider regional conflict, as Turkey reported intercepting ballistic missiles and engaged in intensive diplomatic outreach.
