Virsbo

A new garden called Ödets Trädgård has been created in Virsbo by Henrik Rönkkö and Daniel Björkbacka, who obtained a usage agreement with the municipality to transform a neglected site.

Virsbo in Surahammar municipality has the highest proportion of people with Finnish background among Swedish localities outside Norrbotten, according to 2024 statistics. Preparations are underway for Swedish Finns' Day celebrations in the community.
