Vadstena

A larger version of the popular figure Linus on the line was placed on the pier in Vadstena, only to be quickly removed by the National Property Board, which owns the land. The figure has since reappeared elsewhere, sparking renewed interest and political support before disappearing again.

Jenny Bytander, a former Social Democrat, has been nominated as the top candidate for the Moderates in Vadstena's 2026 election, following a turbulent political period in the municipality.
