Swansea Council has launched legal action against the Welsh Rugby Union over its plan to sell Cardiff Rugby to Ospreys owners Y11 Sport & Media, alleging competition law breaches.

A review commissioned by the Church in Wales found senior clergy knew of sexual abuse allegations against a former bishop when appointing him to high-ranking positions.
