Negotiations are underway to redevelop the Prestatyn site, but the future of both locations remains unclear.

Tristan Thomas Roberts, 18, was sentenced to life in prison for bludgeoning his mother Angela Shellis to death with a hammer at an isolated nature reserve in north Wales. Roberts recorded the murder and had spent weeks planning the attack, which followed extensive online posts expressing misogyny and violent fantasies.
