Devon and Cornwall Police are responding to a serious ongoing incident in Plymouth on Monday evening, with reports of a police helicopter circling the city and cordons in place near Treeby Court.

Police have charged two Afghan nationals with the rape of a woman in Plymouth. The suspects, identified as Hashmat Miakhel, 31, and Sayed Hoshmand, 19, appeared at Plymouth Magistrates' Court, according to police.
