A wave of Iranian missile and drone strikes targeted energy facilities across the Gulf on Thursday, causing fires at Bahrain's BAPCO refinery and Kuwait's KPC headquarters building. The attacks, part of a broader retaliation for U.S.-Israeli strikes that killed Iran's supreme leader, have disrupted oil production and drawn international condemnation.

Formula 1 could lose an estimated £54 million if races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia are cancelled due to escalating conflict in the Middle East. The Bahrain Grand Prix on 12 April and Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on 19 April are in serious doubt.
