A jury at Gloucester Crown Court has convicted Superdry co-founder James Holder of raping a woman in her Cheltenham home after a night out in 2022. The verdict came after a trial in which the jury heard sharply conflicting accounts from the accused and his accuser. Holder, 54, was acquitted of a second charge of assault by penetration and will be sentenced at a later date.

The serial killings of Fred and Rose West were discovered in 1995 when police found their daughter Heather's body buried at their Gloucester home, leading to more victims. A new Netflix documentary now revisits the case.
