Estonia's Internal Security Service (KAPO) apprehended a record number of Russian agents in 2025, with at least nine individuals identified as working for Russian intelligence services, according to KAPO reports. The agency expelled four Russian citizens and handed over one Ukrainian citizen to Ukrainian authorities due to their connections to Russian intelligence.

Norwegian biathlete Sturla Holm Lägreid clinched the men's sprint World Cup overall title after tying on points with Sweden's Sebastian Samuelsson. Lägreid secured the championship because he had more race wins than his rival.

France was disqualified in the single mixed relay in biathlon in Otepää after Émilien Jacquelin used too many extra shots and then skied one penalty lap too few. Sweden finished second in the race but also faced a disqualification in a junior women's relay event.

Sweden defeated Estonia 79–69 in Tallinn on Sunday, keeping their slim hopes of reaching the 2027 Basketball World Cup in Qatar alive. The victory came after a home loss to Estonia on Friday.
