The Solbacken village association in Edenberga faced an unexpected cost overrun last autumn when connecting to the municipal water and sewage network, with the bill doubling to 400,000 kronor, money the association lacked. A recent fundraising gala and a private donation have now raised over 300,000 kronor, covering the doubled costs and allowing the association to proceed with a small loan.
