Truls Möregårdh defeated German player Franziska 4–0 with set scores of 13–11, 11–5, 11–7, and 11–4 in the round of 16. Möregårdh will face Japanese player Sora Matsushima, ranked eighth in the world, in the quarterfinals at 03:00 Swedish time on Good Friday. Earlier in the tournament, Möregårdh defeated Jonathan Groth in the second round.

He is through to the knockout stage and the round of 16 in the major tournament. His next opponent in the round of 16 was scheduled to be French player Thibault Poret on Friday at 11:00 Swedish time. Other Swedish players faced elimination.

Kristian Karlsson lost to Yun Ju Lin from Taiwan in three straight sets, 8–11, 4–11, 5–11. In another match, Truls Möregårdh won against Indian player Manav Thakkar with set scores of 11–5, 3–11, 11–7, and 11–5.

Additional match results include Thibault Poret defeating German player Dang Qiu in the second round. Hana Goda previously played three seasons in Eslöv. Sun Yingsha won the Olympic Games in Paris and the last two world championships.
