Burro is a new Italian restaurant in Covent Garden, London. It is located a few minutes from Covent Garden tube, off King Street in a hidden courtyard leading to Floral Street. The chef-owner of Burro is Conor Gadd, who previously owned Trullo in Islington. Burro's menu includes Venetian chicken liver pâté on bruschetta, fried artichote with bottarga, fresh focaccia, tagliarini with clams, strozzapreti with pork and chilli, whole lemon sole in prosecco sauce, vitello al burro (veal Milanese), and braised beef shin on polenta. The restaurant features real tablecloths and staff who know the menu well, and it serves a cocktail called Donkey Kick, made with whisky, chartreuse, lime juice, and poitín. Specific opening hours, reservation policies, and price ranges for meals at Burro have not been disclosed, and public reception since its opening remains unclear.

Tusco is a new Italian-inspired restaurant that opened at 88 Dumbarton Road in Glasgow. It opened on Wednesday, March 4, following a soft-launch weekend. Tusco is located at the former Eighty-Eight site, which was previously Two Fat Ladies. Tusco's name is inspired by a Spanish phrase meaning 'just do as you please.' The restaurant's concept focuses on Italian-inspired dishes, fresh pasta, and vibrant sharing plates. Fergus McCoss, the owner of Tusco and founder of the Hinba Group, described the evolution in a statement, noting that Tusco marks an evolution in what they want to offer, with food now firmly Italian-inspired, focusing on pasta, bold flavours, and dishes that encourage sharing. He added that the soft launch went brilliantly, they learned a few things and tweaked a couple of dishes, and now they are fully ready to go, with Tusco designed to be relaxed, welcoming, and easy-going, where the name tells you everything: just do as you please. Tusco's space has been transformed with a refreshed look and new décor, and the existing team remains in place. Tusco will open a dedicated cocktail bar serving bar snacks from Thursday to Saturday. Hinba, next door at 86 Dumbarton Road, will soon serve weekend brunch and transform into a cocktail bar with bar snacks from Tusco in the evenings. Tusco is part of the Hinba Group's hospitality portfolio, which includes Hinba Specialty Coffee, Ziques, The Bakery Hinba, and an Oban-based roastery. Specific dishes on Tusco's menu beyond the general description, along with price ranges and plans for future expansions, have not been detailed.
