Life is strange. But life as a journalist is actually even stranger. One day you're rolled in tar and feathers and the next day you get a trophy. I am of course incredibly grateful – but the biggest win for me is that I get to perform the world's most fun job together with the world's best colleagues.

Rikard Berglin, Journalist

Svenska Dagbladet won the Award for Sound Journalism at the Newspaper of the Year awards for the podcast 'Mannen med revolvern'. Svenska Dagbladet also won the Award for Reader Deal at the Newspaper of the Year awards for digital growth. I am incredibly honored and still a little shocked by this award. It means a lot – not only for me personally, but also for all the voices I try to lift in my work every day.

Madlyn Alabdullah, Reporter

DN's investigative editor Mikael Delin was named Media Leader of the Year at the Newspaper of the Year awards.

I am incredibly happy and grateful. It is of course entirely and fully the fantastic investigative reporters' merit. I am so proud of everything that we have accomplished together in recent years. Getting to work with them is a blessing and the finest assignment I can imagine.

Mikael Delin, Investigative editor
