Prince Harry spoke at the International Association of Privacy Professionals Global Summit in Washington DC on Tuesday, according to multiple reports. He launched a scathing attack on technology giants during a keynote address at the event on Tuesday evening, drawing on his personal battles with media intrusion to condemn what he described as normalised exploitation across the tech sector. The IAPP Global Summit is described as the world's largest annual gathering of digital responsibility professionals, attracting top experts in privacy, AI governance and cybersecurity law. Prince Harry participated in a discussion with Joe Jones, the IAPP's director of research and insights.

Buckingham Palace announced that King Charles and Queen Camilla will undertake a state visit to the United States in April. According to the palace, the state visit will celebrate the historic connections and modern bilateral relationship between the UK and the US, marking the 250th anniversary of American independence. This will be King Charles's first visit to the US as monarch and the first state visit by a British sovereign to America in nearly 20 years, since Queen Elizabeth II's tour in 2007. King Charles will then continue to Bermuda to undertake his first royal visit as monarch to a British Overseas Territory.

On advice of His Majesty’s Government, and at the invitation of The President of the United States, The King and Queen will undertake a State Visit to the United States of America. Their Majesties’ programme will celebrate the historic connections and the modern bilateral relationship between the United Kingdom and the United States, marking the 250th anniversary of American Independence. The King will then continue to Bermuda to undertake His Majesty’s first Royal Visit as Monarch to a British Overseas Territory.

US President Donald Trump said he looks forward to spending time with King Charles during the state visit. According to Trump, he anticipates the visit will be terrific and respects the King.

Prince Harry's spokesperson confirmed that he will not travel to the East Coast to visit his father during the state visit. Prince Harry and King Charles last met in September, when Harry visited the United Kingdom and shared private tea at Clarence House with the King.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to travel to Australia in mid-April for a series of engagements spanning private, business and philanthropic activities. Meghan Markle is scheduled to appear as the special guest at a women-only 'Her Best Life' retreat in Sydney, Australia, from April 17-19.
