Police interview teenage girl injured in Boden Christmas Day murder

Police in Boden, Sweden, have conducted a first interview with a teenage girl who was seriously injured in an attack on Christmas Day, during which her mother was murdered. The interview took place on Wednesday, according to police. The girl, who is reportedly the younger sister of another victim, is still hospitalized for her injuries but is said to be improving. Police investigation leader Per-Olov Andersson stated that the girl has been heard, but he provided no further details on the interview. The murder occurred on Christmas Day, and the investigation is reportedly in its final stages. Separately, a woman in her 20s has been charged with violent resistance during a police arrest in Boden on July 27 and will face trial at Luleå District Court.
