Man arrested for assaulting officer during animal seizure in Sandviken

A man was arrested in Sandviken after becoming violent during an animal seizure operation. Personnel from the County Administrative Board were attempting to seize a domestic animal from the man's home when he threw them out of the residence. Police were called to assist, and the man, who is in his 70s, struck an officer. Officers used a stun gun to subdue him. The man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting an official. There is no information that anyone required hospital treatment.
