Elite archer Tilde Ottosson balances studies and sport in Örebro

Tilde Ottosson, a 20-year-old elite archer, is combining her sports career with psychology studies at Örebro University in Sweden, according to SVT Örebro. Ottosson, who competes for Järnvägens Bågskytteförening in Hallsberg, reportedly joined the national team at age 17. She said the social aspect of archery helps keep her motivated. Örebro University offers support for elite athletes through agreements that provide study planning assistance, as per Riksidrottsförbundet guidelines. Mattias Folkesson, coordinator for elite sports and studies at the university, noted that time and finances are challenges for such students, with about 30 currently combining studies and sports there.
